Start Playing Deploy StarShip, Step 1: Create a MetaMask Wallet
In order to receive ships to send on missions in Deploy StarShip, players must create a MetaMask wallet. This wallet allows players to hold $STARSHIP. The amount of $STARSHIP a player owns determines the rarity of their fleet. Ships’ rarities will periodically update according to the value of $STARSHIP.
Hint: The more $STARSHIP a player holds, the higher the rarity of their fleet.
In this post, we break down how to set up a MetaMask wallet.
Part 1: Create a metamask wallet
1. Download MetaMask wallet
Go to https://metamask.io/ and click Download. Choose your preferred browser or mobile application and install the MetaMask extension.
2. Installation
Open the MetaMask extension and click Get Started. You can either import an existing wallet using your seed phrase or create a new one.
3. Create a new MetaMask wallet
Select Create a Wallet. On the next page, select I agree if you would like to help improve MetaMask or No Thanks to proceed.
4. Create a strong password for your wallet
5. Securely store the seed phrase for your wallet
Select Click here to reveal secret words to show the seed phrase.
Security tips:
Be sure to store your seed phrase in a safe place. It is the only way to recover the contents of your wallet if your device crashes or your browser is reset—if your seed phrase is lost, you will not be able to recover your funds.
Never share your seed phrase or your private key.
Click Next.
6. Seed phrase confirmation
Confirm your secret backup phrase by clicking on each word in the order in which the words were presented on the previous screen. Click Confirm to proceed.
Congratulations! Your MetaMask wallet has been set up successfully.
You can now access your wallet by clicking on the MetaMask icon at the top righthand corner of your browser.
Part 2: SET UP YOUR METAMASK WALLET FOR BINANCE SMART CHAIN
1. Select Settings from the dropdown menu
2. Click Networks, then Add Network
3. Manually add Binance Smart Chain network
Part 3: IMPORT $STARSHIP Token into MetaMask
1. Click Import tokens
2. Copy the $STARSHIP contract address below
StarShip contract address: 0x52419258e3fa44deac7e670eadd4c892b480a805
3. Paste the $STARSHIP contract address into the Token Contract Address field
4. Select Add Custom Token and then Import tokens
Part 4: Send $BNB to your Metamask wallet
1. Buy $BNB in the centralized exchange of your choice (Binance, Kucoin, etc.)
2. Withdraw your $BNB to your MetaMask wallet
The standard $BNB available for purchase on centralized exchange are on the BEP2 Network. To purchase $STARSHIP, a token on the Binance Smart Chain (BEP20 network), you need to transfer $BNB onto the Binance Smart Chain (BEP20 Network).
Hint: Some exchanges (like Binance) allow you to directly withdraw your $BNB on BEP20 Network; here’s how:
Select Withdraw
Select the token you want to withdraw ($BNB)
Paste your Wallet address in the Address field
Select the BSC network (BEP 20)
Hint: If your exchange doesn’t allow you to directly withdraw your $BNB on the Binance Smart Chain Network (BEP20 Network), here are the steps you can take:
Withdraw your standard $BNB (BEP 2 Network) to your MetaMask wallet
Download and install TrustWallet
Restore your MetaMask Wallet into TrustWallet using your secret recovery phrase: Settings > Wallets > + > I already have a wallet > Multi-Coin Wallet > Enter your secret recovery phrase
Click on the $BNB you just withdrew and swap it to Smartchain
Part 5: Buy $STARSHIP token
1. Visit PancakeSwap decentralized exchange
2. Click on the bottom token and paste the $STARSHIP contract address (below) in the search bar

3. Select STARSHIP token
4. Click Connect Wallet and then MetaMask
5. Select the Settings icon and set the Slippage Tolerance to 12%
$STARSHIP has a 10% tax on every transaction (5% goes to the liquidity pool, 5% is redistributed among holders). The slippage tolerance needs to be greater than the tax.
6. Enter the amount of $STARSHIP you want to buy (or the amount of $BNB you want to spend), click Swap and then Confirm Swap
Hint: Remember to leave a small amount of BNB for the network’s gas fees: $1-$2 worth of BNB should be enough.
